Our new exhibition, a selection of 50 works from our always expanding permanent collection, is currently on view until Saturday, October 31. Our last permanent collection show was in February 2018, and since that exhibition, we’ve added more than 20 innovative and regionally relevant new works to our collection and reframed others to make them glorious and exhibition-quality again, all of which are now on display! In November, the Washburn Cultural Center and the Chequamegon Bay Arts Council will host a reformatted version of CBAC’s annual autumn show, which this year will be temporarily renamed UN-GATHERING. Held in lieu of CBAC’s annual Gathering exhibition/celebration, its small works exhibition, and the Cultural Center’s Holiday Bazaar, UN-GATHERING (November 4–28) will feature affordable wares and works in a variety of mediums that will make for perfect gifts as you shop for the holiday season. Patrons can stop by in November to browse and buy displayed works and items in our shops, and artists can submit works to the UN-GATHERING until (the end of October) at a reduced entry fee.
