Join the Monday Night Life Drawing Group on Monday evenings from 6:30pm–9pm on the third floor of the Washburn Cultural Center. Organized independently of WCC, the group provides a welcoming space for artists to create, featuring a live model each session—clothed or nude modeling sessions for each week are noted in the Upcoming Model Schedule. Please bring your own materials and equipment; these sessions are non-instructional.

What's Up:
Every Monday evening from 6:30 to 9:00 on the third floor of the Washburn Cultural Center. Come in through the back door. We provide a comfortable space and a live model, you bring your own gear. No instruction provided. Please show up five minutes early. We lock the doors at 6:30 PM.

Who's Welcome:
Attendees (18 and up) of all levels of experience are welcome - beginners, college students, professionals, and everything in-between. Everyone is very kind and non-judgemental, so there's no need to fear you aren't experienced enough to attend. It's a relaxed environment and we are all just here to draw, improve our practice, and support one another. No pressure, no judgments. Let's draw and enjoy ourselves.

What We Do:
Sessions vary. Classic figure study, portrait sessions, scenes and costumes, and even sessions with local musicians. Lately we have been doing figure study sessions, beginning with gestures and short poses, and then moving on to longer poses after a short break.

Recommended Donations:
We suggest a contribution of $2 or more for the venue. There's a donation box on the main level.
We suggest a contribution of $5 or more for the model. Please put this into the jar that you'll find near the pedestal.
