Rita VanderVenter: Paintings and Mixed Media
This retrospective exhibit of Rita’s marvelous paintings and mixed media is comprised of over forty works and will be on display through December 11. We’ve also got lots of Rita’s bead and birch bark work in our shop - just in time for holiday shopping.
The Gathering - Now On Exhibit
Each October, the Chequamegon Bay Arts Council sponsors its annual member show, “The Gathering,” with a variety of works by over twenty area artists and craftspeople. Artist reception on October 10, from 5:00 until 7:00. The show will run through October 31.
1st Annual Antiques Appraisal Fair This Saturday, September 14!
Join us on Saturday, September 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and have your family heirloom, antique, or collectible appraised by Gary L. Browne, of Bluebeards Antiques. Mr. Browne has nearly 50 years of experience in appraising American antiques and specializes in furniture, firearms, pocket watches, original art, and collectible Americana. Cost is $10 per item, with a limit of three items. Proceeds will benefit the Cultural Center.
